For the New Year we thought it was time to shake things up a bit! So we have created two new menus one for lunch time and one for the evening.
Gerry, the head chef in Wokooshii and myself worked together to decide and create these new menus and the obvious choice for lunch was Ramen Soup Noodles! Japan’s most popular dish! On our regular menu Ramen Soup Noodles cost £12.50 and we are offering the dish for just £8.70!! That’s up to 30% off the A La Carte menu price! All four toppings are still available to choose, Grilled Teppanyaki Beef or Grilled Teppanyaki Chicken or King Prawn Tempura & Crabsticks or Sweet Japanese Inari Tofu & Seaweed (vegetarian option).
We are also offering Jjigae for the lunch deal at the same price £8.70 instead of £12.50! Again you can choose any of the options off the regular menu Chopped Beef and Seaweed with Rice or Minced Chicken with Rice or Mixed Seafood with Rice (Scallops, Shrimp and Squid) or Assorted Mushrooms and Tofu with Rice (vegetarian option)
Gerry then suggested that we offer a ‘sharing starter’ for just £3! Again the obvious choice being everyone’s favourite Edamame beans tossed in salt and pepper! Which are vegetarian and may I add vegan!! Woohoo!
The other option for the lunch deal starter is our NEW Crispy Prawn Kebabs with an Oriental Sweet Vinegar, Garlic and Chilli Sauce
Here was the tricky part! Picking the sauce! We tried four different sauces vinegar, garlic and chilli sauce, wasabi mayonnaise, sweet chilli and a sweet mango sauce. Gerry allowed me to decide on the sauce, now whilst I love sweet chilli sauce it’s been done! I didn’t like the wasabi mayonnaise as I don’t like mayo! And the mango sauce was lovely but too sweet to go with prawns – it would work in a dessert dish! So the winner was of course the vinegar garlic and chilli, who doesn’t love that combination?! The head chef was pleased that I picked the sauce he made
Now onto the evening menu! We are offering a two course set menu for just £12.95! What a bargain! As the Crispy Prawn Kebabs with an Oriental Sweet Vinegar, Garlic and Chilli Sauce were such a big hit at lunch we thought we’d serve them in the evening as well with a side salad. Other options include or Chicken Tempura or Pan Fried Mandu Vegetable Dumplings
For the main course options what’s better than Teppanyaki & Rice?!
So there’s lots of choice there! Come for lunch, come for tea or both if you can’t decide!
